Security notice and IP clarification.
Matrix CR Studio’s statement on the repository exposure, and on the intellectual property it contained.
01 · What happened
On April 16, 2026, Matrix CR Studio discovered that its primary source code repository had been unintentionally publicly accessible since approximately March 10, 2026, a period of approximately 37 days.
The repository was immediately made private upon discovery. This notice documents the incident, clarifies intellectual property ownership, and states the legal position of Matrix CR Studio with respect to any copies made during the exposure window.
02 · Scope of exposure
What it contained
The repository contained proprietary source code, architectural documentation, and intellectual property implementations developed by Matrix CR Studio.
No sensitive data exposed
No client data, credentials, API keys, or personally identifiable information was contained in the repository. All secrets are managed via environment variables excluded from version control.
03 · Intellectual property statement
All code, documentation, and artifacts in the repository are and have always been the exclusive intellectual property of Pablo Octavio Ramirez Cabrera / Matrix CR Studio.
No open-source license was ever applied.
The absence of a LICENSE file does not grant any permissions. Under 17 U.S.C. § 106, all rights are reserved by default. Viewing source code does not constitute a license grant.
Claims are documented and dated.
Each intellectual property claim is recorded against a specific git commit, dating from March 10, 2026, so each one is individually traceable to the commit that introduced it.
Blockchain-anchored prior art.
The foundational white paper is timestamped on the Bitcoin blockchain via OpenTimestamps: independent proof that the document existed at that time, predating any public exposure.
International protection.
Costa Rica is a signatory to the Berne Convention, the TRIPS Agreement (WTO), and the WIPO Copyright Treaty. Copyright is automatic and international; no registration is required for enforcement.
04 · Notice to anyone who cloned or forked
If you accessed, cloned, or forked the Matrix CR Studio repository during the exposure window, the following applies:
You do not have a license to use, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any portion of the repository contents.
Commercial use of any portion of this code constitutes copyright infringement under applicable domestic and international law.
We are actively monitoring for unauthorized use across GitHub, GitLab, package registries, academic publications, patent filings, and the broader web.
If you have cloned the repository, you are requested to delete all copies immediately.

05 · Licensing inquiries
Organizations interested in licensing Matrix CR Studio technology (including the Secure Node Framework, core modules, the audit pipeline, or the post-quantum cryptographic infrastructure) are invited to contact us directly.
